TEACHING AWARDS:

Innovation in Teaching Award 2018 In recognition for outstanding contributions to education through IDCC DESIGNHOUSE Studio at Bentley University. The objective of the Bentley University Awards

for Innovation in Teaching is to recognize Bentley faculty members

who have contributed significant teaching innovations and to provide

a forum for them to disseminate their innovations to the faculty

as a whole.

Created and manage the IDCC DESIGNHOUSE STUDIO, an on-campus design company that utilizes the skills and talents of Bentley students. This allows students to apply what they are learning in their classes to real world application client projects for Bentley faculty, programs and departments. The projects include posters, flyers, brand identity logos, Powerpoint, web banners and brochures. The students create actual client work for marketing and advertising campaigns and special events.

I created the IDCC DESIGNHOUSE blog that is a design resource for the Information Design & Corporate Communication, Creative Industries, Marketing and English and Media Studies programs at Bentley University. ( http://mpgoldberg53.wixsite.com/idccdesignhouse )

Developed the Inspiration Design Lecture series that consists of 10 lectures each semester. We collaborate with top industry design professionals that discuss a variety of topics related to the fields of visual communication design. The designers ZOOM the lectures to talk with our students about the fields of creative design and demonstrate their amazing skills, talent and experience.
